Your description helps customers quickly understand what your business does, who it serves, and why they should contact you. Keep it accurate and current.
What To Include
Mention the main service or product, the suburb or area you serve, and the customer need you solve. Avoid private information, unsupported claims, and outdated offers.
During profile creation, the description must be at least 50 characters. In the profile editor, the improvement tool asks for at least 20 characters before it can help.
Use The Improvement Tool
Open Profile, write your own starting description, then use the description improvement option if it is available. The tool reads your existing copy and suggests a clearer customer pitch.
Review before accepting. The suggested text should still be checked by you. Make sure it does not add services, locations, prices, guarantees, or opening details that are not true.
Accept Or Keep Editing
If the suggestion is accurate, accept it and save the profile. If not, reject it, edit your original text, or try again with more specific wording.
Good Description Checklist
Use plain language, name your real services, include the location only when it is useful, and keep the tone friendly. A clear description is better than a long one.
