Fixing Google sign-in issues on web and mobile
Google sign-in can fail for browser, cookie, or popup-policy reasons. Follow the checklist below in order.
Quick checks
- 1Confirm date and time are correct on your device.
- 2Disable ad blockers for the current site.
- 3Allow popups and third-party cookies temporarily.
- 4Retry sign-in in a private/incognito window.
Browser-specific notes
- Safari: disable strict cross-site tracking prevention for the sign-in attempt.
- Chrome: check blocked popup icon in the address bar.
- Firefox: allow redirects and popups for the session.
If callback URL errors appear
Use the official login route and avoid stale bookmarked auth action links:
